Understanding OurLoveStory

What the platform is, where it fits, and what it does not replace.

What is OurLoveStory?

OurLoveStory is a browser-based wedding platform for the wedding website, invitations, RSVP, guest management, seating, Story Stations, live photos, guest messages, activities, music requests, displays, registries, and cash funds.

Is it a wedding website or a wedding-day app?

It covers both parts. Couples build the website and manage planning through an account. Guests use browser-based invitation, RSVP, story, and wedding-day pages through direct links or Story Stations.

Does it replace a planner, photographer, or venue team?

No. OurLoveStory is software for guest-facing information, planning workflows, and participation. It does not coordinate vendors, manage the venue, or replace professional photography.

Can we preview it before guests see it?

Yes. Couples can build and preview the wedding website and guest experience before sending invitation links or printing Story Stations.

Invitations, guests, and RSVP

How invitation links reach guests and how replies stay connected to planning.

Can invitations be sent by text and email?

Yes. The platform supports text-first invitation delivery when a phone number is available and email delivery for guests reached through email. Delivery depends on the contact information saved for each guest.

Do guests create an account to RSVP?

No. A guest opens their personal invitation link in a browser and answers the RSVP questions configured for the event.

What can the RSVP collect?

The RSVP flow can collect attendance, party details, plus-ones, meal choices, dietary notes, and a personal message. The exact questions depend on the event configuration.

Can we import an existing guest list?

Yes. Guest records can be imported from CSV or added directly. Review names and contact information before sending invitations, especially country codes and shared family contact details.

Do RSVP details connect to seating?

Yes. The seating tools use the same guest and response information, so attendance and dietary details remain available while arranging tables.

Story Stations and the venue

How printed Story Stations connect physical places to guest-facing pages.

What is a Story Station?

A Story Station is a printable card placed at the venue that opens a chosen wedding page on a guest’s phone. It can lead to a story chapter, photo wall, guestbook, schedule, activity, music requests, or another page.

Where can Story Stations be placed?

Common locations include the entrance, welcome table, guest tables, bar, photo area, guestbook area, and dance floor. Placement should match the action or information the page provides.

Can the cards match the wedding style?

Story Station tools include printable layouts and color options. Couples can set the title, supporting text, and destination before downloading the print-ready card.

What should we do about venue connectivity?

Browser-based features need an available internet connection. Check venue Wi-Fi and mobile reception in the spaces where guests will use Story Stations, and avoid making a connectivity-dependent interaction the only way to access essential information.

Photos, messages, and activities

What guests can contribute and what can appear on the live display.

How does the live photo wall work?

Guests upload photos from their phone browser. The couple can review guest submissions through the available moderation controls, and approved photos can appear in the shared gallery and Live Display.

Can guests leave messages as well as photos?

Yes. The Story Capsule guestbook collects browser-based messages and can be opened from a direct link, story page, or Story Station.

What activities are available?

The platform supports formats such as couple trivia, speed rounds, polls, bingo, photo challenges, and scavenger-style activities, with scoring or leaderboards where the format uses them.

What can appear on the Live Display?

The Live Display supports wedding information, guest photos, messages, activity results, leaderboards, live event moments, and other display modes configured for the wedding.

Can guests request music?

Yes. Guests can use a browser-based music request page. A separate DJ or operator view is available for reviewing and managing the queue.

Plans, payments, and gifts

One-time plan pricing, guest counts, the guarantee, and cash-fund fees.

What plans are available?

There are three one-time plans: Intimate Story at $99 for up to 50 guests, Full Wedding Experience at $199 for up to 150 guests, and Signature Celebration at $349 for celebrations with 151 or more guests.

Do lower-priced plans omit features?

No. Every plan includes the full feature set. The plan difference is guest-count capacity and the associated support level.

Is the payment recurring?

No. Each plan is a single payment rather than a monthly subscription. The pricing page explains how long the wedding remains available and how upgrades work.

Is there a refund policy?

Yes. Paid plans include a 30-day money-back guarantee. Contact support within that period if the platform is not the right fit.

Does OurLoveStory charge a fee on cash gifts?

Cash fund checkout shows the applicable platform and Stripe processing fees in the total before a guest pays. External registry links follow the registry provider’s own terms.

Access, privacy, and support

Important boundaries around links, guest information, browsers, and support.

Who can open the wedding pages?

Access depends on the page and the link used. Guest-specific RSVP flows use personal invitation links. Other wedding pages can be reachable through direct links or Story Stations. Review the wedding’s visibility settings before sharing.

Do wedding pages depend on a modern browser?

Yes. Guest experiences are built for modern mobile and desktop browsers. Device age, browser version, accessibility settings, and network conditions can affect the experience.

What happens to guest information?

Guest information is used to provide invitation, RSVP, and wedding services. Review the privacy policy for the current details about collection, processing, retention, and deletion rights.

Where should we ask a wedding-specific question?

Use the contact form or email hello@ourlovestory.io. Include the wedding date, approximate guest count, feature or workflow, and whether you already have an account. Do not send passwords or payment card details.

Have a question about your specific wedding?

Share the date, approximate guest count, and the workflow you are considering. That context makes the reply more useful.
